i bought a new cell phone. the ericsson i had was pissing me off b/c it was too slow. i spent most of my saturday morning driving from pasadena to montebello and back to pasadena again just to get my damn phone. then i found out they're having network problems which is why my phone doesn't work at home. who knows how long it will take to fix that but for now i can only receive voice mail when i'm at home b/c my phone won't ring. the upside to this situation? --> i have a bad-ass phone now!

i was starting to regret not going to the reunion with my parents in vegas til my brother threw one of his bbq's at the house. i think that was the loudest we've ever been. our neighbor even joined us but i told my brother to keep him outside b/c he scares me. i met some of the new guys my brother hangs out with. rock is by far the coolest one only b/c of the mayan-like tatoos all over his arms. the whole night we kept making fun of barnes b/c he resembles seth green's character on can't hardly wait. most of what i remember was trying to keep myself propped up against the fridge and kris trying to make me stand. wine + beer = dumb rose. su, kristine, amy, and dex dropped by later in the evening. my cousin and his friends claim i have "hot friends". true. i like to surround myself with beautiful people.

yesterday we went to mission high school's fiesta to get some filipino food. jorell's dad told me to come by and although i didn't get to see jorell, i spent the lunch afternoon eating with his dad. they're good people.
