let's see... in the past week my hair was "accidentally" chopped off - 8 inches gone! i'm never gonna volunteer to be a model for ANYONE's cosmetology board exam - friend or not - NEVER!

my sister bumped up her wedding to november 1st, which means i can't do that damn marathon i've been training for. wedding plans have been getting crammed, dresses bought last minute, final details popping up here and there. i can't wait til it's all done.

i spent the past weekend in chicago with jen for 3 days. it was the perfect vacation. i finally tackled my fear of public transportation. i'd rather drive my ass all around. we took the train, the bus, cab, and walked to butt-f@cking egypt. the temperature averaged in the low 50s and jen walked around the house "with a blanket wrapped around like she lived in a fucking crack house". we had dinner with my cousins, shopped all over downtown chicago, checked out sears tower, rode the trolley, and messed around with the locals at the bars and train. weird people out there, man. we stood out like a pair of fobs taking pictures at disneyland. everyone there looked like they walked out of an abercrombie & fitch magazine.

i have the rest of the week off. it feels so nice not having to drag myself to a place i don't want to be. i've been able to catch up with people i haven't talked to in a while. i'll probably spend more time in the studio this week. we'll see...
