this past weekend was a trip. aside from mel and nani tying the knot, we all found out shirl's pregnant! i saw a bunch of the old school uci crew and most importantly my old roomie jill. i've missed her considering the last time i saw her was 4 years ago at my graduation. all in all, the wedding was a huge success and it was by far the rowdiest reception ever. from mel and nani doing their choreographed retro earth wind & fire first dance, to kevin doing his strip tease on a chair on the dance floor, to the whole room of guests screaming and competing for the centerpieces, to the fire alarm going off twice. i have to admit it was the first wedding i've been to that didn't play any slow jams but instead greenday and blink 182.

oh my gosh, my mom is so weird. she was calling me from the kitchen earlier telling me to "hurry up! come look!". i run over there and she's standing over the sink squishing the lactaid container to flatten it and points to the circular spout which was bent into some deformed oval. she says, "doesn't it look like the mouth on the mask from the movie scream???"
