psst!... i have a date on wednesday. hehhehehe!

yesterday was care and bryan's wedding. i think that was the first time i've seen the groom smile more than the bride at the actual ceremony. too cute man. the reception was simple and yet beautiful - the center pieces were yellow daisies floating on water in a glass bowl, yellow flowers EVERYWHERE, and oh my gosh the food was awesome! you can't go wrong with chicken topped with crab... yummy! anyhoo, we had the best table right in front of the tv for the video show and right off to the side from the dance floor. the newlyweds' intro song was "stayin alive" by the bee gees as they walked into the clubhouse bumpin booties and shakin their thangs. i don't know what was funnier, that or the mexican looking dj with the filipino fob accent ("okey, ladies and gentilmen, i wahnt to e-see you e-shake your e-stuff to da todo todo, cha-cha, and electric slide. and por da yang ones, we hab hip hap and rrrrrrap.")

then i drove my ass back up to LA to meet up with my sis and her 4 girlfriends so we can get our groove on at the century club. you know, there really is an advantage to goin out with only girls. no waiting in line, no cover charge, free drinks, and my favorite... guys! though i think that one has to do with the fact that we were with a 5'10"-22 yr.old-dimple cheeked latina. ooooh! and another exciting part of the evening was when we witnessed a high speed car chase last night in pasadena. some idiot thought he could outrun 6 cop cars. dumb ass. i think he crashed cuz 10 minutes later we saw the ambulance heading in the same direction.

here's something random. i just finished watching a kcet program earlier on homosexuality in the early 20s. now that's some interesting shit.
