ahh... music to my ears.

speaking of music, i visited the LA Recording Workshop yesterday. i came... twice. i was so damn excited that i wanted to lick every piece of machinery in all the studios. if i get into this school... watch out! i wil fall off the face of this earth and return in 8 months. most of the instructors are industry professionals who are currently working with artists such as stone temple pilots, christina aguilera, and eminem (your favorite). my tour guide (who's also the operations director) was telling me how he's been getting mad requests for "female" engineers and how now is the perfect time to start learning. the guy in my group looked like he wanted to cry. it's such a male dominated industry. come to think of it, i saw only 2 female students that whole day! oooh... here's the cool part... each class has no more than 5 students... and some classes are one-on-one. i'm wet.
