i'm seriously, badly sunburnt. my sister and i spent the whole day with our godsons at california adventure and once again i stupidly didn't put on any sunscreen, not because i forgot, i just didn't want to. told you i was stupid. so now my shoulders and chest have an almost permanent outline of the tank top i was wearing. add to that 2 lines on each of my shoulders, one from the tank top and the other from my bra. oh... and the two-toned colored boobs i now have with the top portion looking baked and the bottom portion looking raw. (*sniff*... ouch.)

anyway, i just can't tell you how fun it is talking and spending time with kids. my godson marcus, 4, and my sister's godson matthew, 5, (they're brothers and our nephews) cracked me up the whole day. from them crying at the bugs life show to them thinking the main attraction at california adventure were the ducks in the water, we were highly entertained simply by spending quality bonding time with them. who cares if i spent an hour and a half in line at that grizzly water ride only to find out marcus was too short to ride. who cares if my skin feels like it's gonna fall off because it's sunburnt. who cares if my toes were stepped on 7 times. who cares if my body was hella sticky from the heat. it was all worth it just seeing those kids smile.
