got home a little over an hour ago from comedy night at dublin's. i thought it was going to be pretty lame, but when i saw darrell hammond walk on stage i was like "no way!". i luv SNL!!! he made my night. the other comedians were hilariously too. if only i could remember their names. one of them has a new show that will be following friends next season. anyway, i've never been to a comedy night, ever. the kaba comedy night after events don't count.
wanna hear something scary? okay, so it's not really scary... just traumatizing. on my way to my sister's pad i happened to drive by the scene of an accident. it must have happened no more than 5 minutes prior to me approaching the corner. this white car was the victim of a hit and run. the front was totally smashed in, glass everywhere, and a crowd was already starting to form. as i turned the corner and passed the car, the passengers were being escorted out by quite a few people who stopped to help get them all out of the car. the driver, a small asian girl probably a few years younger than me, was limping and moaning in pain with blood continuously dripping down her face. it was the scariest thing i had ever seen, mixed with feelings of sympathy, shock, and disbelief. i wanted to stop and help, but what could i do? i don't have any first aid skills... i didn't even have tissue in my car to try to clean her up a bit. man, i still can't get that image out of my mind.
