just got home from my aunt's house. had to help her pack for her trip to italy with my lola today. upon eating my brunch at the kitchen counter i come across some pretty interesting stories with my 2 uncles.

1) i find out my 2 cousins in italy are modeling for benetton. these kids are like 4 and 6 years old. not to mention the youngest baby will be modeling too once she turns a year old. yeah, the sabino family is just that awesome.

2) apparently one of my uncles used to babysit me when he first came here from the philippines 23 years ago. according to him, all i ever said to him was "uncle bert, poo-poo".

3) my sister walks in the house and my uncles and lola start commenting on how much weight she's gained. so lola suggests that she not wear clothes that are too tight cuz she ends up lookin like suman. for those of you who don't know what suman is, it's a filipino dessert made of primarily sticky rice and sugar wrapped tightly in a banana leaf. so my sis has that edible look, i guess.
